Yuen Kay Shan was the first to write down and organize the Wing Chun Kuen systems Kuen Kuit, concepts, principles, and training methods. In the Faat Mun (Methodologies), , and the similar Yiu Ku (Important Formula), tactical advice is given, using sets of four character rhyming couplets.
